Kurdistan’s cabinet approves housing bill

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Kurdistan region’s Council of Ministers approved the housing citizens draft law, according to an official statement released on Thursday. “The council during its meeting tackled also allocating 10% of the project’s amount to the cities, 15% to the districts and 20% to the villages,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The council decided not to add any interest on the amount in order to ease burden on citizens,” it added. “The premier instructed the investment commission and concerned authorities to take the conditions of poor citizens into consideration,” the statement noted.
