Arab league’s charge d’ affaires asserts support of political process in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Charge d’ affaires of the Arab League mission in Baghdad, Nagi Ahmad Shalgham, stressed the Arab organization’s support for rendering the ongoing political process a success, according to a statement of the parliament. This came during a meeting between Shalgham and the parliament’s deputy speaker, Aaref Tifour, at his office in Baghdad on Thursday (Jan. 21). “The AL plays a very important and positive role in Iraq,” Tifour said.
