High security committee holds 1st conference

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The high security committee of the elections held on Tuesday the first conference to discuss and coordinate the security plan of the coming parliamentary elections. “Head and members of the committee presented the plan’s details on the police commanders and representatives of the intelligence authorities of all provinces and Kurdistan region,” said a committee’s statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The conference was attended by Head of the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC), Faraj al-Haydari, and representatives of U.S. troops and UN mission in Iraq,” the statement added.
