AMS blames U.S. army for Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Association of Muslim Scholars (AMS) has blamed the recent bombing that hit northeastern Baghdad on the U.S. forces and the current Iraqi government. In an official statement, the association said “such hideous acts” aim to undermine the unity of the Iraqi people. On Monday, (Feb. 1), a female bomber blew herself up among a crowd of Shiite pilgrims who were heading to Karbala in Bob al-Sham area, northern Baghdad, killing 41 and wounding 106 others, according to latest figures.
