KA announces its candidates in Ninewa ceremony

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdistan Alliance (KA) has announced its platform and candidates for the upcoming parliamentary election during a ceremony held in Mosul City, an informed source said on Saturday. “The ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, who is a KA candidate; the secretary of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Fadil Mirani; a member of the political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Adnan al-Mufti; and several party leaders…,” a source from the KDP, Ghazi Farman, told IraqiNews.com news agency. Kurds have 58 seats in the current 275-member Parliament. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 1
