VP discusses relations with Turkish, British envoys

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi has met with the Turkish and British ambassadors to the country to discuss bilateral ties, a presidential statement said on Monday. “Today, Hashemi received the Turkish ambassador to Iraq, Murat Ozcelik, and discussed with him bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey, the current political situation in Iraq and the upcoming election,” according to the statement, which was received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
