Journalists can cover election anywhere in Wassit – official
WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Journalists are allowed to cover election in any voting center they choose throughout the province of Wassit, according to a local official on Thursday. “Journalists will be allowed to interview voters in voting centers,” Dr. Kadhum al-Shimari, head of the Wassit election office, told IraqiNews.com news agency on Thursday. He said that during past elections, media people were allowed to cover two voting centers only. Parliamentary elections will take place in Iraq on March 7, 2010.
