Iraqi, Kurd officials discuss Ninewa, election

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Parliament Speaker Ayad al-Samaraee and Kurdistan’s President Masaod Barazani discussed in Arbil on Sunday current situation in Ninewa province, and the issue of excluding candidates from election. “Al-Samaraee called on Barazani to start direct communication channels with officials in Ninewa to reinforce the province’s security and stability,” said a release issued by al-Samaraee’s office and received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
