IIP regrets withdrawal of Dialogue Front

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Islamic Party (IIP) has expressed its regret at the withdrawal of the Dialogue Front from the election race. In a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency, the party said that building a unified and an independent state is a process that requires the participation of all segments of Iraqi society. The party has criticized all attempts to marginalize some political blocs. On Friday (Feb. 19), MP Nada al-Jabouri from the National Dialogue Front (NDF), led by Saleh al-Motlak, announced its withdrawal from the upcoming parliamentary polls, citing the absence of guarantees of a fair election.
