Youth Ministry renovates sports hall in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports will begin work on a project to rehabilitate al-Shaab sports hall in the capital Baghdad, an informed source said on Wednesday. “Renovation work will start next week,” the director of the sports facilities department in the ministry, Wasfi Kareem, told IraqiNews.com news agency. The work is scheduled to be completed within three months, Kareem noted, adding that an estimated cost of 1.5 billion Iraqi dinars will be used to finance the project. SS (P)/SR 1
