Polio vaccination campaign reaches 171,242 children in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Medics in Karbala have wrapped up the second stage of a polio vaccination campaign that targeted 171,242 children in the holy province, a local media spokesperson said on Saturday. “The campaign targeted children of less than five years of age,” Saleem Kadhem told IraqiNews.com news agency. “It covered all the cities and the districts in the province…,” Kadhem noted.
