Asayesh, army forces raid headquarters of Yazidi movement

NINEWA /Iraqi News A force from the army and Asayesh personnel raided on Friday the headquarters of the Yazidi movement in western Mosul, vice president of the Ninewa council said. “A force from the Asayesh (Kurdish for security) and 11th brigade of the 3rd division of the Iraqi army raided the headquarters of the Yazidi movement in al-Qahtaniya district, western Mosul, where a number of members were arrested,” Dildar Zebari told Iraqi News. “The forces set them free on the highway,” he noted, asserting that the behavior indicates that the operation was not official.
