Cop dies of wounds following blast near Talafar

NINEWA /Iraqi News One Iraqi policeman has died of the wounds he sustained in an explosive charge blast that hit his patrol near Talafar, an informed source said on Saturday. “A policeman from al-Iyadiya district, Talafar (60 km northwest of Mosul City) died of the wounds he had sustained when an IED hit his patrol in al-Iyadiya on April 7,” the source told Iraqi News. “The blast seriously wounded two personnel, including one who died today,” the source indicated.
