Policeman kills himself by mistake in Talafar family feud

NINEWA /Iraqi News A policeman killed himself by mistake in a family feud in the district of Talafar, western Mosul city, on Friday, according to an official police source in Ninewa. “A policeman in Talafar, (60 km) northwest of Mosul, was killed in a feud between two families of the same clan in al-Qala’a neighborhood, central Talafar,” the source told Iraqi News. “The policeman tried to scare a man with his gun but a bullet fired hit the shooter himself,” the source added, not giving further details about the incident.
