Vote counting may take several days – IHEC

ANBAR /Iraqi News A total of 5,000 votes have been counted within the special voting and the process still underway, a media official of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Anbar said on Friday, noting that the process could take several days. “The IHEC’s Anbar office started the vote counting two days ago and finished counting 5,000 papers,” Arkan Jaber told Iraqi News, noting that the process may take several days with a daily 3,000 papers. “The number of voters in the special voting in Anbar is 29,000,” he added.
