Politician urges parliament to protect election

KARBALA /Iraqi News A lawmaker from the al-Iraqiya Alliance called on members of the parliament to hold an extraordinary session to discuss election and voting related issues. “The session aims to protect election and to avoid possible crisis which could last for four years,” Hussein al-Falluji told Iraqi News. “Many winning and losing blocs said that there have been rigging in election results,” al-Falluji added. He said that the parliament should protect election so that Iraq will not experience crisis over the coming four years. MH (P)/SH 1
