VP delivers oral message to Syrian President

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi delivered on Tuesday an oral message to the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. “The message talks about Iraqi-Syrian mutual relations, and stresses Iraqi government’s interest in developing the relations within all levels” the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said. Al-Assad hoped upcoming parliamentary election in Iraq would help the country restore security and consensus, stressing Syria’s determination to have the best relations with Iraq, according to SANA.
