Hakeem, State of Law Coalition delegation discuss post-election phase

BAGHDAD /Iraqi News The head of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (SIIC), Ammar al-Hakeem, has met with a delegation from the State of Law Coalition to discuss the developments on the political scene after the legislative elections. “The delegation included Sheikh Khaled al-Atiya, Ali al-Adeeb and Khudeer al-Khuzaie,” according to a statement published on the council’s web site. Deliberations are going on between the State of Law Coalition and the Iraqi National Coalition in an attempt to generate a common vision of the next political phase, the statement noted. SS (P) 1
