Special voting in Arbil reaches 86.6% – IHEC

ARBIL /Iraqi News The participation percentage of the special voting in Arbil registered 86.6%, director of the Independent High electoral commission (IHEC) in Arbil said on Friday. “The participation percentage during Thursday’s special voting is 86.6%,” Hindereen Mohammad told Iraqi News. “The electoral process went well and did not record violation in the special voting,” she added. The special voting process started at 7:00am on Thursday (March 4) all over Iraq to elect 325 MPs for the upcoming Iraqi Parliament, while the general voting process will take place on Sunday March 7.
