INA delegation in Arbil to discuss new Iraqi govt. – member

ARBIL /Iraqi News A delegation from the United Iraqi Alliance on Friday is visiting Arbil, the capital city of the Iraqi Kurdistan region, to take up the issue of forming the new Iraqi government with Kurdish officials. “The delegation will hold meetings in this regard with Kurdish officials,” Sheikh Hammam Hammoudi of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (SIIC), a key component of the INA, told Iraqi News. He noted that the new government should be active and employ an approach different from that of the past four years. “We agree with Kurdish officials that respect for the constitution should be a foundation to form the government,” Sheikh Hammoudi said. He stressed that all Iraqis should be partners in running Iraq and making good use of its resources. MH (P)/AmR 1
