Army officer survives assassination in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: A police checkpoint on Monday defused a sticky bomb that was attached to an Iraqi army officer’s car in central Falluja city. “The officer survived the assassination attempt,” a local police source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The source noted that bomb was defused without causing any casualties or damage Falluja, the biggest city of Anbar province, lies 45 km west of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 3
