Local police chief sacked in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The Rawa council in Anbar decided on Tuesday to sack the local police chief for his ‘mismanagement’, according to a police officer. “The Rawa council, west of Ramadi, sacked the police chief, Colonel Methfar al-Rawi, for his mismanagement,” Major Rahim Zubn told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The council appointed Colonel Asaad Salim to replace al-Rawi,” he added.
