Joint force arrests 3 Al-Qaeda suspects

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A statement released by the U.S. Army on Friday noted that a joint force has arrested 3 individuals suspected of having ties with Al-Qaeda in the west of Baghdad. “The Iraqi Security Forces and in cooperation with consultants from the American Force, have searched a building looking for one of the elements which is suspected to be involved in significant attacks by car bombs, and is linked to the High Command of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, west of Baghdad,” the statement posted on the U.S. Army’s Web site noted. “According to the information and the evidence which were collected during the search process, the Iraqi Forces have been able to identify and arrest the 3 suspects who were linked to the person in question being wanted in accordance with a warrant issued against him,” the statement added.
