UAE minister in Arbil to boost economic ties – official

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Foreign Trade Minister of the United Arab Emirates Lubna Khaled al-Qasemi arrived on Tuesday in Arbil in an official visit to foster economic and commercial ties between the UAE and the region, according to an official of the foreign relations department in the region. “President of the region Massoud Barzani received the minister and her accompanying delegation in the Salah el-Din resort,” Falah Mustapha told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The visit aims to foster economic and commercial ties between the region and the UAE,” Mustapha added, noting that the region seeks to develop this relation for the good of the region. “The minister will take part on Wednesday (May 18) in the economic and commercial forum which will be held in Arbil to exchange viewpoints and to discuss the mechanism of coordination and cooperation between the private sectors in both sides as well as the investment opportunities in the region,” he said.
