Lebanese, Turkish firms discuss housing compounds in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A group of eight Lebanese and Turkish firms on Monday discussed with Basra‘s governor new housing compounds in the province. “We discussed with the firms investment housing projects in the province,” the Basra governor Shaltagh al-Mayiah told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that the Basra Local Authority encourages Arab and foreign companies to invest in the province. The oil-rich city of Basra lies 590 km south of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 2
