Civilian wounded in mortar attack in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A civilian man was wounded in an attack with a mortar shell that landed in western Mosul city on Saturday, a local police source in Ninewa said. “The mortar landed on a house in the area of Rajm Hadeed, western Mosul, leaving the house owner wounded and the house severely damaged,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The man was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source added, noting there was no military or police unit near the house.
