Army soldier, child wounded in two attacks in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One Iraqi army soldier was wounded on Saturday when an unknown stabbed him northwest of Mosul city. “The soldier had a quarrel with his stabber,” a local security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He did not mention further details about this incident. The source added that a male child was wounded in a separate incident when an unknown gunman used a grenade to attack a police patrol west of Mosul city. “The child is 10 years old,” the source explained. He noted that the child was close to the blast’s location by coincidence. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)SR 3
