Sulaymaniyah completes 50 percent of 145km road project

Sulaymaniyah (IraqiNews.com) – Iraq’s Kurdistan Regional Government has allocated 400 billion Iraqi dinars ($274 million) for the three-phase road project in Sulaymaniyah. The mega road project is currently 50% completed.

The first phase will be 34 kilometers long. The route, which will have four lanes and a total width of 100 meters, will have three overlapping bridges, seven junctions, and five tunnels. The first phase will include building a network of 110-meter-long electricity lines and 67 concrete ducts for road illumination.
