Iraqi-Kurd forces seize explosives, arrest suspects in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi army – Kurd security combined forces on Wednesday seized explosives in a house northwest of Mosul city, and arrested three men from inside the house. “The forces found 150 kg of TNT inside the house,” an Iraqi army source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that the operation relied on intelligence tip offs, describing the three arrested persons as gunmen. “During preliminary interrogations, the three men admitted to their involvement in armed operations, and that they produce roadside bombs and send them to Mosul city,” the source explained.
