Policeman wounded in IED blast in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A policeman was wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in western Mosul city on Thursday, a local security source said. “An IED blast targeted a police patrol in al-Siha neighborhood, western Mosul, leaving one policeman injured,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He added that the wounded patrolman was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Mosul, the capital city of the unrest-stricken province of Ninewa, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. AmR (P) 2
