3 army soldiers wounded in IED blast in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Three Iraqi army personnel were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off near their patrol in western Mosul city on Friday, a military source said. “An IED blast targeted a patrol of the Iraqi army in the area of al-Haramat, western Mosul, leaving two soldiers and one officer in the rank of first lieutenant injured,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Security forces imposed a security cordon in search of the culprits and rushed the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he added.
