Barzani, Turkish diplomat review bilateral relations

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, discussed in Arbil with Turkish deputy foreign minister bilateral relations, according to a presidential statement. “The meeting was held in Salah el-Din resort in Arbil and tackled ways of strengthening bilateral ties,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “Relations between the two sides witness great development and the Turkish government considers Iraq’s Kurds as strategic partners in the region,” the statement quote dthe Turkish diplomat as saying. “The region has great economic potentials, which could be used through mutual cooperation and coordination,” he added.
