Biden will be in Iraq in suitable time – US ambassador

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Vice President Joe Biden will be visiting Iraq in a suitable time, said the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad. “Biden had no plan to visit Iraq last week,” the U.S. Ambassador Christopher Hill told IraqiNews.com news agency. He pointed out that the visit will be announced to the media when it occurs. “Within U.S. administration, Biden is responsible for and concerned with the issue of Iraq,” Hill noted. He stressed that his country understands Iraq has border with Iran, yet it does not compromise U.S. policy in Iraq to achieve a solution associated with the Iranian nuclear program. MH (P)/SR 1
