Iraq describes Israeli assault on humanitarian flotilla as ‘coward act’

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Foreign Ministry described on Tuesday the Israel assault on the humanitarian flotilla bound for Gaza as a “coward act’, expressing strong condemnation to this act. “The Republic of Iraq strongly condemns this coward Israeli military act which targeted a flotilla head for Gaza to convey humanitarian aids to the Palestinian people,” said a ministerial statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The act contradicts and violates the principles of the humanitarian international law,” it added.
