Iraqiya has the right to form Gov’t – Barzani

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Al-Iraqiya Bloc, as election winner, has the right to form the new Iraqi government; President Massoud Barzani of the Iraqi Kurdistan told the Turkish TV station TRT6. “The Al-Iraqiya has this right, but there are other election winners who represent important components and have an essential role within the Iraqi political arena,” Barzani told the station. He stressed that the new government should rely on the principle of national partnership as the foundation to embrace all election winners without ignoring any side. “That’s what Iraq currently needs, and that’s our view,” Barzani noted.
