Turkish Airlines announces scheduled flights to Kirkuk, Iraq
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Turkish Airlines has announced new direct flights to Kirkuk, with one weekly trip between Istanbul Airport and Kirkuk International Airport, beginning on October 27th, 2022.
Starting on December 1st, the flights will run four times each week, and beginning on March 1st, 2023, they will run every day.
Kirkuk is Turkish Airlines’ seventh destination in Iraq and its 38th destination overall in the Middle East. The launch of the new route coincides with Turkish Airlines’ 44th year of operation in Iraq.
With these flights, there will be 46 weekly flights to Iraq by the end of the year, maintaining the global airline’s dominance in the region by offering more international connections than any other airline.
