2 killed, 13 injured in Anbar Provincial Building blast

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: One policeman and one civilian were killed and 13 people were wounded when a female suicide bomber with an explosive vest blew herself up inside the al-Anbar Provincial Building, Ramadi city. “A number of policemen are among the injuries,” head of the a-Anbar Provincial Committee told IraqiNews.com news agency on Sunday. He noted that none of the province’s local officials have been harmed in the attack. Earlier, a local police source said that an unknown explosion hit the al-Anbar Provincial Building. “I heard the sound of a strong explosion from the building,” the source said. He noted that police forces closed the building’s two gates, and prevented both civil servants and people from going in and out.
