Sahwa commander killed, 2 of his guards injured in Hilla

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: On Tuesday unknown gunmen killed the commander of Sahwa (Awakening) fighters north of Hilla city. “Unknown gunmen opened fire targeting the Sahwa commander and two of his guards,” a local security source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He noted that the attack took place when the Sahwa commander was standing before his house in the Jurf al-Sakhar area, north of Hilla. “Two of the Sahwa commander’s guards were wounded in the attack,” the source added.
