2 civilians killed in IED blast near Hilla

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Two civilians were killed in a blast from an improvised explosive device (IED) north of al-Hilla city on Friday, according to a police source in Babel. “An IED attached to a vehicle selling gas cylinders in al-Mahaweel district, north of Hilla, went off, killing the driver and a worker and totally destroying the car,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
