2 policemen killed, 8 injured in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Two policemen were killed and eight others were wounded in two consecutive explosions in eastern Baghdad, according to a security source. “Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) exploded consecutively near a police vehicle patrol in Palestine street in eastern Baghdad, killing two policemen and injuring eight, who were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The police vehicle and two nearby civilian cars were damaged in the attack,” he added.
