 Minister of Youth and Sports meets on 25th Gulf Cup in Basra

Basra (IraqiNews.com) – A meeting was held recently by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, with members of the Supreme Committee supervising the 25th Gulf Cup and security commanders to go over the latest preparations, the Iraqi News Agency said. 

“The meeting followed the most important developments in the establishment of the Gulf Championship (25) in Basra, and discussed the governorate’s preparations to receive the Gulf delegations participating in the tournament,” a correspondent for Iraqi News Agency reported.

The 25th Arab Gulf Championship will begin in Basra Province on January 6, 2023.  Participants include Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen. In addition to Iraq, the host country for the tournament.
