Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) – A bomb explosion close to the city of Kirkuk in northern Iraq has claimed the lives of at least seven members of the Iraqi federal police force.

According to the reports, the Sunday victims were in a convoy when the device went off.

The explosion happened close to Safra, a community located around 30 kilometers from Kirkuk.

ISIS terrorists are present in the neighborhood, yet no one has claimed responsibility for the incident.
