Two blasts injure 4 policemen, soldiers in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Four policemen and army soldiers were wounded Thursday in two separate explosions in Heit district, western Anbar, a security source said. “An improvised explosive device went off Thursday (Nov. 4) targeting an army vehicle patrol in al-Muaalameen neighborhood, central Heit, injuring two soldiers and damaging their vehicle,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The second blast occurred by a local-made bomb, which contains C4 and TNT,” he added, noting that the bomb exploded near a police vehicle patrol in al-Jamaaiya neighborhood, central Heit, wounding two cops. “Anbar police have adopted tight security measures throughout the province, including a vehicle ban, as a precautionary measure,” he said.
