Three civilians, Government employee, injured in IED blast in central Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Three civilians and an employee in the Iraqi Directorate of Nationality & Civil Affairs have been wounded in an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) blast in central Baghdad, a security source said on Monday. “An IED, planted in a vehicle of an employee in the Iraqi Directorate of Nationality & Civil Affairs, blew up close to Alwiya Hospital in central Baghdad, had wounded him together with three civilians,” the security source told IraqiNews.com News Agency. The said blast had been the third of its type over the past few hours, as an IED blew up in a civilian car, wounding its driver in southern Baghdad, whilst a soldier and a civilian have been injured in another IED, planted in the soldier’s car in southern Baghdad‘s Dauri district, according to Iraqi securiy forces.
