Police general wounded by IED in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy assistant of interior minister was wounded Thursday in a blast that targeted his motorcade in Baghdad, according to a security source. “An explosive charge went off Thursday morning (Oct. 28) targeting the motorcade of General Hussein Mahdi Goumaa in al-Jihad neighborhood in Baghdad, injuring him and damaging his car,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, without giving further details.
