Civilian killed, father wounded in Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A civilian man was killed and his father seriously wounded in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in western Baghdad on Sunday, a security source said. “An IED planted by unknown persons close to a shop in western Baghdad‘s Khan Dhary area, went off, killing a man and seriously wounding his father,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. He added that the blast caused material damage in a number of stores near the blast site.
