UPDATE / Central Baghdad blast kills civilian, wounds 4

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A civilian man was killed and four others wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off near a government vehicle in central Baghdad on Saturday, a security source said. “A roadside IED went off near an interior ministry vehicle in al-Karrada area, central Baghdad, leaving a civilian man killed and four others, including two interior ministry personnel, wounded and causing severe damage to nearby stores,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The wounded were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he said. Earlier, a security source said an unidentified blast shook al-Karrada with no information on possible casualties were available. AmR (P)/SR 2
