Al-Qaeda Emir arrested in Wassit

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An al-Qaeda Emir (prince) has been arrested by Iraq’s Rapid Deployment Force (RDP) in southern Iraq’s Wassit Province on Tuesday, according to a Wassit Security Source. “Al-Qaeda’s Emir (prince) in Wassit Province, Arif Naji Zugheir al-Ujeily, has been arrested, following reception of information about his involvement in terrorist acts in Wassit and other provinces,” the security source told IraqiNews.com, but gave no further details.
