Saadoun blast targeted key INA member – source

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The powerful explosion that took place close to a fuel station in central Baghdad’s Saadoun street earlier on Sunday was targeting a motorcade of a leading member of the Iraqi National Alliance, a security source said. “A motorcade of key INA member Muwaffaq al-Rubai’e, was the target of an improvised explosive device (IED) blast which left three civilians wounded and one of the motorcade vehicles damaged,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) earlier announced that one person was wounded in the IED attack close to a fuel station in central Baghdad’s Saadoun street. SKH (P)/AmR 1
