Projects in Anbar to focus on communications, agriculture

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Investment projects in Anbar province will focus on the communications and agriculture sectors to develop the province’s economy, chairman of the local council’s investment committee said on Monday. “The current stage in implementing projects will focus on the communications, agriculture and livestock sectors through comprehensive studies by specialized committees to develop the local economy in Anbar,” Mezher Hassan told news agency. “The province has witnessed sharp deterioration in the economic activities due to the violent acts in armed attacks, as well as the financial and administrative corruption,” he explained.
